Let’s just say that FabFitFun has gained a new worshiper today – me! I’m just sitting here with my hands smelling heavenly from the Body Souffle I just put on them and with a purple clay mask on face, feeling fresh and beautiful, and ready to say a few nice works about FabFitFun subscription box. But let’s start from the beginning.

I have tried BirchBox subscription box two years ago, it was a gift from my husband, and I have mixed feelings about it. I liked it, I really did, but I think I liked the surprise element more than all the products I got and of which one of my bathroom drawers is still full. I think it was the small travel sizes and the frequency that got me turned off, so I didn’t renew my subscription for the second year.

This time I was browsing Instagram and saw Chloe Kardashian all giddy posing for a picture with a box full of creams and other beauty products sticking out. She looked beautiful, the box looked beautiful, and so I had to have it!

And had it I did – today my very first FabFitFun box arrived at my doorstep and I was more ready to open it with my curious and very much FOMO dog Marlo by my side.

First of all, the box was beautifully colored and radiating summary mood right away.

After I open it, I was literally blown away by the sizes of all the products, and the amount if them! I was used to 5 small Birchbox items before, but these were something entirely different!

Shower ritual is about to start

The first item I opened was pink wet hair spa towel. I saw a similar one at my friend’s house in Lithuania, and I always wondered where she got it and how convenient it must be not to mess with the entire large towel on your head. And now I have it too. I tried to put it on my dry hair just to learn and it was a no-brainer. I am already looking forward to my next hair wash after the gym tomorrow morning.

Fits just fine

The second product I opened and tested right away was Skin&Co Truffle Therapy Illuminating Skin Refresh Mist. I am not very big on skin care as I have oily skin, which usually stays moist without any effort, but I know I will be using this product. I sprayed the mist on my face and it felt wonderful. I loved the scent and the feeling of freshness it gave me.

Next I proceeded to another Skin&Co product – Truffle Therapy Essential Face Toner. Again, I don’t even own a toner, but I often wish I did because I sometimes feel like putting something refreshing on my face that would be good to my skin.

This is it now! I didn’t try it yet, because I just sprayed the mist, but judging by the smell, I will love it.

Then came one product that I’ve been craving for a while. I have been using all kind of lotions on my hands because after continuous SNS and long lasting nail polish my hands took a beating. I got chemical irritation from all the dipping in acetone to remove the coat before putting another one on.

Perfect fit for the bathroom essentials

My fingers started itching and getting irritated every day now. My allergist said that the only cure for this is staying away from acetone and moisturizing my hands as often as possible. And moisturizing I did! So much so that I finished almost all lotions in my house.

Great routine day and night

This company is all about conscientious materials and this is exactly what I need right now. The lotion smells heavenly, gets absorbed immediately, and really leaves my poor fingers in a much better shape. This lotion is going everywhere I go from now on.

The freshness of purple clay

Next came the Generation Clay Brightening Purple Clay Mask. This is another great smelling product to keep face beautiful and clear. I used clay mask before, but I had to mix it with water and rarely took time to do that. This one is already premixed, smells good, looks great in purple, and requires only 10 minutes to achieve fabulously fresh feeling.

Cozy hair remedy

Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair is one more product that I really need for my constantly colored and styled hair. My hair is currently blond (I am naturally brown haired), I curl it at least once a week and blow dry it every other day. I am constantly buying heat protecting products for my hair and now this came to me on its own. It smells good and is so liquidy that you have to be careful to close it fully and tight. I spilled some already and not on my hair…

Exfoliation perfection

Let’s talk about green sugar exfoliating cubes from Harper + Ari Juice Cleanse. I haven’t tried them yet, but I don’t even need to – I can just sit at my computer with the open jar and smell them all day. The scent is super refreshing with notes of lime and aloe. I will be trying those scrubs tonight in the shower for sure.

Universal cleanse

Last beauty product I opened was The Better Skin Co Lava Magic, a 3-in-1 miracle. It can be a cleanser, a scrub, and a mask. My oily skin can definitely use all of them!

Fall is in the air

Again, it smells good, like roses and strawberries, has beautiful red color, and tiny exfoliating particles. I will definitely use it as a scrub and cleanser since I have the purple clay for my mask.

Goodness in the bag

To end it all I also got travel yoga mat from Anthropologie and a Kate Spade cosmetic bag. The yoga mat is definitely small and will be great for both me and my daughter’s dance class yoga part. The bag is something I’m constantly in the need of and perfect for storing all the products I got today.

Living and traveling mindfully from now on

All in all I loved loved loved this FabFitFun box and now seriously consider signing up for a year.

Opening it is like Christmas

It would be like Christmas every three months with high quality products that I would never find myself otherwise and that cost just $49 per box, but worth $200. I don’t think it can get any better than that!
