Causebox’s arrival always means comfort and positive vibes for me. I got accustomed to getting a big box full of products that are not only beautiful and useful, but also produced with social and environmental responsibility in mind. I love all the cruelty-free natural things I get every season and this box is no exception.
Winter is in full swing and my anticipation of spring is heightened, so it might seem that winter box is a bit late, but I can use all the items in spring just as well. I pay for my box seasonally, so it might be why I received it in the middle of winter instead of the beginning. I might fix this by becoming a yearly subscriber of Editor’s box, which is sent to recipients earlier – I know that because my sister is such a subscriber. Signing up for a year helps save about $20 versus ordering each quarterly box for $54.95.
Every Causebox includes 6-7 full size items that cover beauty, health, home décor, fitness, and lifestyle categories. I love all those parts of life, but have never been big on shopping, so getting a delivery of mazing products that are expertly curated is sheer perfection for me. Safe delivery has never resonated with people as much as these days, when because of the seemingly never ending COVID-19 pandemic, a few of us enjoy shopping in stores anyway. Causebox is a great option – the company looks for products that are one-of-the-kind and brings them right to our doors contact-free.
Causebox has always been big on featuring artists from disadvantaged regions of the world, people of color, women, and those who work with sustainable materials. Such advocating for change and responsibility resonates with me as these views are very much my own. It’s not that difficult to make products that are cruelty-free and are designed to help us live healthier and less wasteful lives.

Without further ado let’s take a look at what arrived in this winter box that costs just $55, but includes items worth way over $200:
Thread & Supply Cozy Cloud Wrap – $115
When they say cloud, they are not kidding, because it really feels like something between cashmere and a cloud. It’s grey, which is my second favorite color after black, so this is totally my style. What’s the most surprising for me is that this wrap is made of recycled plastic water bottles. I can tell you right now that I won’t be taking this off in summer too. I will wear it with pleasure on those cool evenings with friends, which I hope will be possible again by then.
Boon Supply Reusable Zip Pouches – $22
Now that my kids are back to school face to face, I need snack bags again. I use regular zip lock bags and even though I recycle them, it still sad to use them on a daily basis. These are great for the snacks and for packing food leftovers or picnic supplies. The bags come in 5 different sizes and each replaces over 300 single use zip lock bags. How cool is that?
40% of all orders from Boon Supply are money donated to a fundraiser that you choose – positive impact at work!
SKIN&CO Roma Truffle Therapy Face Toner – $30
My skin is resting from sun damage during winter and can very much use some toning products, so this is right on. It smells amazing thanks to all the Italian botanical extracts than came directly from Umbria region. It’s 100% vegan and cruelty-free, which is very important to me. The toner includes hazel, truffle, and rosemary extracts.
True Moringa Rejuvenating Body Polish – $34
This body scrub is made of coffee beans and you can tell that right away based on color and smell. It gently exfoliates and helps skin get firmer. Moringa oil is another part that works against aging and wrinkles. Sanctuary Project itself is a non-profit social entity that employs human trafficking, violence, and addiction survivors. 25 such survivors are currently working there. Every dollar earned goes directly towards such employment and training.
ettitude Travel Beauty Pillowcase – $25
Isn’t it nice to travel with your own pillow? Granted, none of us is doing much travelling these days, but it’s not for long. One day we will take to the friendly skies again and then this bamboo pillow case will be my best friend. It’s super soft, sustainably made, and feels extremely luxurious. I also enjoy knowing that the company conserves water and reuses it.
Idewild Co. Yearly Planner – $32
As soon as my 10 year old daughter saw it, she confiscated it from me, which is probably for the best. She is in the pre-teen stage when they have to write secretive things in their journals all the time and I am at the stage, where I use my phone for everything. The planner is very well made though and will definitely be useful to us. Furthermore, Idewild Co. is owned by a woman and uses biodegradable materials, which I definitely stand behind.
